In this hands-on class, Jeff will guide you through sculpting a grinning dragon using masking tape, paper, wire, and glass marbles for the eyes. You’ll learn how to form expressive features, from curved snouts to sharp teeth, while mastering Jeff’s signature sculpting techniques.

Jeff & Dale Ocasio collaborate on building characters and small worlds that live somewhere between folk art and storybooks. Sculpting with masking tape over wire and reclaimed objects is where their artwork begins.

Each sculpture is encased with layers of acid‐free glue, color is added with more layers of acrylics, mixed media and protected with matte varnish. Many of their sculptures are featured in their own original digital illustrations.
