jeff is getting ready to present a workshop tomorrow at a local library, showing folks our art, explaining a bit about us, and leading them to the discovery of how fun and liberating sculpting with masking tape can be with a mini-class on making faces while learning the basics

Jeff & Dale Ocasio collaborate on building characters and small worlds that live somewhere between folk art and storybooks. Sculpting with masking tape over wire and reclaimed objects is where their artwork begins.
Each sculpture is encased with layers of acid‐free glue, color is added with more layers of acrylics, mixed media and protected with matte varnish. Many of their sculptures are featured in their own original digital illustrations.
