hand in hand, with fairy grace …

we’ve been looking for the time and energy to create a few fairies

midsummer and all, but long past due

got a little nostalgic while making them

began thinking about the other ones that came and went

oh look! it’s an ocasiocasa history of fairies (take a scroll)

our last two little nuggets, joni and clara, popped up two years ago
haven’t seen hide or hair of them since

old snapshots of works in progress

we’ve even created some illustrations with the fairies in mind
like “alfrig the fairy” —this one is an our gift shop
and “a fairies’ solstice” —it will be added in November

in the meantime, new arrivals have been spotted

this company seems happy enough
that’ll do, fairy

Jeff & Dale Ocasio

Jeff & Dale Ocasio collaborate on building characters and small worlds that live somewhere between folk art and storybooks. Sculpting with masking tape over wire and reclaimed objects is where their artwork begins.

Each sculpture is encased with layers of acid‐free glue, color is added with more layers of acrylics, mixed media and protected with matte varnish. Many of their sculptures are featured in their own original digital illustrations.
