about jeff & dale
We are Jeff and Dale Ocasio, collaborative artists working under the name ocasiocasa. Together, we build characters and small worlds that live somewhere between folk art and storybooks.
Much of our sculptural work begins with wire, masking tape, and reclaimed objects. We wrap, layer, and shape by hand, letting intuition lead more than plans and simple, ordinary materials gradually agree to become something else.
Alongside the physical work, we create digital illustrations featuring our sculptures. These images extend the life of the characters, placing them into new settings and subtle narratives.
Based in Southwest Florida, we share our work through local shops, galleries, and online exhibitions. We also teach in-person sculpting classes, inviting others into the process of building characters from humble beginnings. The act of making is as important to us as the finished object.
Our practice is rooted in collaboration, play, and a belief that art doesn’t need permission to be strange, imperfect, or fun. If something feels a little haunted, a little humorous, and a little unsure of its purpose then we imagine we are headed in the right direction.
