much has been written about the power of flowers
we just like making them, all shapes and sizes and curious embodiments
inspired by all the flowers blooming in our yard this time of year
they make the bees happy, and they make us happy too
we welcome these new flower power residents to our collection…

Jeff & Dale Ocasio collaborate on building characters and small worlds that live somewhere between folk art and storybooks. Sculpting with masking tape over wire and reclaimed objects is where their artwork begins.
Each sculpture is encased with layers of acid‐free glue, color is added with more layers of acrylics, mixed media and protected with matte varnish. Many of their sculptures are featured in their own original digital illustrations.
