We are Jeff and Dale Ocasio, husband and wife, creators of one family unit and ocasiocasa artworks.

We live and play in sunny, slow-moving, southwest florida.

Long ago, our work was originally inspired by our children. Making toys for them allowed us to play again and lifted our hearts. We learned to use the materials we had on hand, by recycling, altering, and reclaiming everyday objects, in the house or from the yard, and giving them new life and purpose.

In more recent times, Jeff began experimenting by sculpting with tape art. Applying his original 3-dimensional designs to “canvases”, such as recycled glass containers, our own home-grown bamboo, and used, abandoned children’s toys, has given him an unimaginable artistic freedom in this new found medium.

In the meantime, Dale has fallen for practically every piece he has created and documents it all through her own illustrative photography.

Our art makes us smile and giggle. It is our hope to spread this whimsical amusement around with every finished piece.
